Yellow Table Talk: Podcast by Women and Climate
In this episode of Yellow Table Talk, host Michelle Li speaks with Jasleen Jawanda, about the importance of marine protected areas (MPAs) in the context of climate change. They discuss the challenges and successes of establishing MPAs in Canada, particularly in the Arctic, and the role of community engagement and Indigenous knowledge in marine conservation. The conversation emphasizes the need for public involvement in ocean policy and the personal connections individuals can foster with the ocean to advocate for its protection.

The goal of the program is to connect early-career Arctic and European youth with mentors to develop projects over one year.
